I am beyond elated to be sharing a few sneak peeks of my editorial shoot for the debut issue of Daniel Magazine (the Kickstarter has officially started -- contribute here), a publication solely dedicated to the gay Asian-American community and its expansive ally network! It's been rather tough keeping this shoot under wraps, other than an Instagram snap or two here, as I've been aching to reveal some of the breathtaking images with you. Once the magazine launches in late November, I'll be able to disclose the full spread in all its glory!

In preparation for the shoot, I went on a bit of a shopping spree on VAULT and purchased some lust-worthy items from Reason Clothing and LUVAJ. They house an incredible selection of emerging but high-end brands that will take your style game to the next level. It also serves as the ideal platform for lesser, well-known designers to thrive by giving them a branded presence, which is always a great thing for a fervent supporter of indie designers like me!

The challenge here was to do five complete outfit ensembles utilizing the same accessories. LUVAJ's crystal cross necklace, which I've been coveting for quite some time now, was the ideal choice for its boldness and versatility. It complemented the clothing perfectly, particularly the plush Nawman sweatshirt from Reason Clothing! There's nothing like wearing a real Balmain blazer and a parody sweatshirt of the brand together. The other component was to incorporate two very beautiful OMEGA watches (courtesy of LaForce + Stevens for lending them to me for the shoot)!

My hair was kept flawlessly throughout thanks to JONATHAN and its series of texturizing grooming products. On top of that, I was able to get my hands on the most luxurious pull-over, ever, by Prospekt Supply. All in all, I couldn't be happier to be photographed (by two phenomenal photographers: Jimmy Sianipar and Jason Mehrtens) for such a groundbreaking magazine that hits so close to home; I've always been a firm believer that your individuality is what influences and defines style identity. This is truly what dreams are made of!
