Making a Case for Handcrafted Jewelry with UNO De 50

In a saturated sea of mass-manufactured accessories and jewelry...

it's tougher and tougher to find quality gems, pun-intended, like UNO de 50

For those who aren't in the know, UNO de 50 has been silently dominating the game when it comes to hand-made and artisanal jewelry for all genders. Its off-the-cuff designs are intentionally polished for a worn-in, aged aesthetic. The visual inspiration for the jewelry ranges from the Mediterranean Sea to the Park Guell in Barcelona. A perfect hybrid for Angelenos, who inhabit the beach as much as our urban surroundings.

Wearing UNO de 50 bracelet and ring

I recently had the opportunity to welcome UNO de 50's at their newest boutique inside Westfield Century City, the luxurious outdoor shopping center. It's a joy to see the spirit of handmade jewelry well and alive in an age where we continue to praise and promote fast-fashion by way of our habits. I encourage all of you, whether you're local to Los Angeles or abroad, to check out the UNO de 50 boutique. It's breathtaking and a nod to a slower pace of fashion, where the essence of artisanal elements are designed to be celebrated.

What are some of your favorite jewelry pieces? How do you accessorize your personal style?
