4 Amazing Locations, 3 Outfit Changes, 1 Summer Day in LA
When Farfetch and their flock came to LA, we want to do it big and show them all the hotspots. And we sure did:
I. The Loit Boutique - Downtown Los Angeles
Address | 301 West Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015
Tel | 1-888-TXT-LOIT
Email | firstname.lastname@example.org
We started the day off at LOIT Boutique, an emerging, high-end and mixed-use space in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Everything from its carefully-curated collection of Acne Studios to Comme Des Garçon and a beautifully, marbled coffee shop to boot, make up the DNA of LOIT. After spending some time inside the boutique, we jettisoned out in limos to our next destination: The Rosy Oyster.
Nestled inside the historical Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, The Rosy Oyster is a newly-opened watering hole with maximum star potential. Its colorful, vibrant decor evokes a Miami Vice meets The Birdcage type of vibe. As the name implies, expect bountiful platters of seasonal oysters and rose all day. What does one do after imbibing too much rose? Well, you get your ears pierced, which I certainly did without any hesitation.
III. Marciano Art Foundation - Koreatown
Address | 4357 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010
Tel | (424) 204-7555
Hours | Thurs-Fri (varies)
While still recovering an early afternoon of rosè, we made our way to the newly-opened Marciano Art Foundation Museum has been the buzz of town as of late and deservedly-so. It's inaugural collection spans the spectrum of contemporary and modern art, demonstrating Paul and Maurice Marciano's notable affinity for collecting fine masterpieces from the likes of Jim Shaw to Christopher Wool. It's stark and sleek interior architecture allows any visitor to visually immerse themselves and become one with their favorite exhibitions
Address | 6500 Selma Avenue 90028 Los Angeles CA
Tel | (323) 785-6600
Hours | 24/7
Our last stop for the night took us into the highest of heights in Hollywood -- the Mama Shelter rooftop where we experienced an intimate dinner while shoulder to shoulder with who's who in the LA luxury fashion and lifestyle scene. It was the perfect way to end the night, dining amongst old and new friends, with the glimmering sights of The Hills in the distance. A most magical evening on a mid-summer's night.
Part of why I love Farfetch so much of it is a locally-driven shopping community scaled to meet a globally in-demand market. It's the one luxury shopping website that I can rely on for a rare gem that's been on my radar for months and seasons as well as of-the-moment drops and releases. Farfetch's relationship with reputable luxury boutiques, local to many regions of the world, provides unparalleled access into a specially-culled inventory of items. Farfetch is my online personal shopper, and I wouldn't want to have it any other way.
Hope you enjoyed this brief escape into my world in LA. Please let me know what your idea of a great day is down in the comments below!
