NYFW STREETSTYLE DAY 1: THE FUTURE IS NOW

In the midst of hopping from fashion shows and hotels to being street-snapped around the city, we finally have a moment to wind down and post a quick update on the blog!

It's been a whirlwind of a time here in New York City so far, and this has definitely been our busiest season yet - we've attended a record of more than 15 shows and presentations with a few more to come during our remaining days. The amount of content acquired is astronomical - so please give us a few days to digest and deliver the best highlights possible!

In the meantime, I want to briefly discuss the outfit that has caused quite some commotion here at NYFW. That outfit is the one you see above. Yes, with the

. I've always been insistent on the idea of self-expression to the fullest, and with this particular ensemble - I wanted to push that even further. The idea of embracing provoking eyewear, pleated kilts, drapy tank tops and sleeveless blazers accompanied by unisex jewelry is nothing new but still so exciting to me. Simply for the fact that these pieces are readily available now.

We can keep predicting what the future of menswear will be on and on,

but I strongly believe that future is now.

Now's the time to keep a sartorial open mind, embrace the newness and make some bold decisions. And just have fun with it.
