The Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles that recently opened hosted its first pop-up book and food truck fest. What a perfect way to start an impromptu Saturday with friends!
There was no shortage of amazing food, particularly these beef schwarma garlic fries and falafel balls, from the Gourmet Genie truck, which made for the perfect picnic.
I never leave the house without these daily essentials: Trussardi bag (similar here), Tom Ford Campbell sunglasses and Comme des Garçon zip wallet (similar here)!
Discovering Boba 7, which is the only boba joint I know of that serves drinks infused with alcohol, was truly a highlight on our excursion through the historic core district of Downtown LA. Pictured is their best-seller Green Tea Heineken with honey boba. Absolutely refreshing!
No spontaneous adventure is ever complete without a "What I Wore" shot! Who knew my YesStyle beanie and Zara paisley shirt would go so well together? Thanks Letopho for being my photographer for the day!
Sunday Funday: Trying banh beo for the very first time at Via Cafe in Chinatown. Not too bad!
Ending my Sunday on a high note at what I now consider to be my secret spot. The beautiful, Downtown Los Angeles cityscape that it overlooks had me speechless. It was one of many moments that remind me of how lucky and fortunate I am to be living, breathing and enjoying life in great company.
