My Sheer and Ombre Moment
Vintage Kennedy Sunglasses (via The Caravan), Matthew Williamson x H&M Sheer Oxford Shirt, Vintage Blue Skinny Belt, Zara Ombre Trousers, Vintage Casio Leather Watch, Number A Boutique Gold Stud Ring
This outfit is the ultimate representation of what I am absolutely fawning over at the moment: Sheer shirts and ombre prints. There is something so perfectly light and airy about the combination of these two trends together.
The sheer shirt with a liquid drip pattern was a rare find I came across a few years back, when Matthew Williamson did a collaboration with H&M. At the time, I loved how the aesthetic was so fashion-forward and knew I had to have it. Now that it's definitely on trend, I've been getting a lot of wear time out of it. It's a fantastic piece to be paired with an ombre print or even a solid, pastel color.
When it comes to accessories, I like to keep it to a minimal with a simple gold stud ring and a classic leather watch. (Note: I am not above arm parties ala The Man Repeller though!) Classy without looking too ostentatious is how I like it.
What are your thoughts on the combination of sheer and ombre trends? What would you have done differently to wear or incorporate these two trends in your every day outfits?
