BLACK, WHITE AND BLONDE

I should be packing for an almost two-week long trip to New York right now, but I want to squeeze in - at least - one outfit post especially when it's in my preferred color scheme and photographed at my all-time, favorite LA destination -

The Getty Center Museum

.

It's a minimalists' dream come true, am I right?

As I look at our jam-packed calendar for NYFW, I am brought back to a place of solace and a zen-like tranquility just through these photos alone. The Getty Center's stark architecture and futuristic curvatures not only make it an ideal environment for photography but also a testament to

Richard Meier's timeless body of work

.

Since going platinum blonde

less than a week ago, I've been experiencing quite an euphoric confidence boost. The hair color feels so natural - some may say that it is the color of my aura. The best part is how much more malleable and pliable it has become, which means no weird cow-licks and nuisances synonymous with coarse, Asian hair. I am very much looking forward to debuting my hair in styles that I've never been able to experiment with before!

And I'll leave it there for now - come back and check this space often as I do my best to provide my NYFW experience. For more immediate gratification, feel free to literally hashtag along on
