While I've not completely risen above the world of fast fashion, I am slowly but surely seeking out alternatives that are lessing the carbon and socioeconomic impact on our planet and its denizens (child and unfair labor are absolute no bueno in my book). However that pursuit hasn't been the easiest, since most eco-friendly pieces of the hemp derivative and upcycled materials have always been irritable on my skin. The latter also tends to lack that premium quality I look for.

That was until I discovered

Dyer & Jenkins

, another Downtown Los Angeles-based gem that is churning out the most amazing eco-friendly yet luxe to the touch apparel. Although their denim offerings are slightly big for my frame, the sweatshirts, henleys and knitwear all fit snugly and perfectly. I can't rave enough about them. The best part is you're curating some forever pieces in your wardrobe while doing good.

As an encouragement to embrace more slow fashion habits, Dyer & Jenkins and I have partnered up to give a lucky winner a $150 to shop directly from their online site! Their current collection features a wide array of unisex sweatshirts and t-shirts (

every 1,000 purchased creates one job!

). Entering the giveaway is incredibly simple: All you have to do is complete the steps below through Rafflecopter!

One winner will be announced on Thursday 7/17/14 - approximately one week from now.

Good luck everyone!
