Wearing // Kai-aakkmann SS14 moto-inspired jacket (similar here), Zara baroque sweater, Eliran Nargassi shorts

I've always been a huge fan of the South Korean-based brand, Kai-aakmann, as evidenced by how often I wore this amazing coat from their FW12 collection. When I had the opportunity to see and try on my favorite pieces from the new SS14 Kai-aakmann collection (before it was even unveiled to the press!), I was instantly on board and made a quick pitstop at the Barbarian Agency where their showroom was located.

Designed by the talented Soonjin Park, the clothes stay true to the minimal aesthetic that the brand is known for -- making it incredibly wearable and utilitarian. This is a collection for the every man and woman who seek easy but stylishly chic sartorial solutions to day-to-day wear. I could easily put on that organza bomber jacket or waxed trench coat, walk out the door and call it a day. The statement the clothes make is so effortless but strong. There's no fuss when it comes to price either ranging from $50-$500.

Many thanks to Johann for accommodating my crazy schedule during New York Fashion Week and for having me over at the gorgeous Barbarian Agency to see the new collection! Hope you all enjoyed this little sneak peek and have an amazing weekend!
