Enjoying a nice glass of Bordeaux at Vino at Trio's with my Brian Lichtenberg Féline sweatshirt, obviously. A reunion with my best high school girlfriends was definitely the best way to kick-start my Chinese New Year last weekend.

The best part of Chinese New Year, in addition to the plethora of red envelopes (li xi, if you must know), is buying new clothing. Wearing new clothes is a way to signify a new year and, presumably, a new you. The cable-knit sweater and classic, nautical stripes shirt are both from H&M. At $34.95 and $17.95, respectively, they were both quite a steal. And I love steals, especially when they are basics that can be worn for years to come!

As some of you may or may not know, I am a full-time marketing professional during the day. I oversee social media and PR-related efforts at FormDecor, a high-end furniture rental company. I absolutely love everyone and everything I've been doing there so far. Starting my new year off with these business cards reminds me of how blessed I am.

Taking my sister and her girlfriend to Craft for DineLA a few weeks ago turned out to be the best decision I've made this month. Everything from the service to the food was completely stellar and over the top good. I can't emphasize how they brilliantly made a flat-iron steak taste like filet mignon. Just unbelievably outstanding.

Luke Chueh, an established LA artist, is well-known for his cheeky but simple animal characters. The polar bear is among the most famous and iconic. His submission for Giant Robot's Year of the Snake pretty much self-explanatory.

As you may have noticed, my blog is undergoing some new layout changes! I am still working out a few kinks and reorganizing my content. So please pardon the dust in the mean time as I continue working on it! Can't wait for all of you to see the final result :)
