Adolfo Sanchez Spring 2012 Collection

Iridiscent, airy, effortless are just a few adjectives I would use to describe this collection. While classically beautiful in concept, the collection stands out in that there is an interplay between varying elements of architecture and textures. Everything from the sheerness in the fabrics to the metallics represent trends that will make a strong debut come Spring/Summer 2012. Although the pieces are very wearable and easily recombine for different styling permutations, they hold up very well on their own.  The following are some of my favorite pieces and ensemble from this magical collection:

Astri Noir (Dress/Top), Suele Verdi (Pants)
For a casual outing, the Suele Verdi pants are the perfect accompaniment to any neutral top

Apri Rosi (Dress)
The encrusted jewels around the neckline of this dress is simply exquisite. I can see this on Emma Stone and Emmy Rossum very easily.

Redili Plata (Dress)
When architectural details and light fabrics come together in matrimonial heaven

Puri Plata (Top), Dobli Plata (Skirt)
I fell in love with the Dobli Plata skirt on first sight. The natural movement of the pleated details will provide your outfit with the right amount of class and sass

Sobri Verdi (Jacket), Dobli Plata (Skirt)
I don't know where you can find a more wearable teal green jacket like that

Cobri Tunic Dress
Black and streaks of copper make for a unique take on the classic LBD

Rosi Plumi (Dress)
Showstopper couture dress that will impress the harshest red carpet fashion police

And these are just a few pieces from the whole collection. The rest can be seen here. I'll allow you to form your own judgements.
